Spotlight: KGL Café – A Cozy Late-Night Gem for Coffee, Culture, and Connection Tucked away with an inviting glow, KGL Café is the kind of late-night spot that effortlessly blends warmth, flavor, and relaxation. After dinner, we stopped in for a quiet wind-down and were pleasantly surprised by how charming and cozy the atmosphere was. We ordered a decaf caramel macchiato and a decaf cappuccino, both well-crafted and comforting without being overly sweet. To complement the drinks, we tried the Rwandan beignets—light, airy, and subtly sweet, offering a delightful twist on a classic café treat. Our friends opted for a teapot of ginger tea, served elegantly, and a round of hookah, adding to the laid-back, social vibe that makes KGL feel like a cross between a coffee lounge and a cultural hideaway. What really stood out was the little shelf of board games tucked in the corner. We grabbed Jenga, which led to a lot of laughs and friendly competition—an unexpected but welcome touch that added to the café’s charm. KGL Café is the kind of place where you can settle in for a casual conversation, a late-night coffee, or just a moment of stillness in the buzz of the city. Whether you’re looking to relax with friends or simply unwind after dinner, it’s definitely worth a visit.
